Hellmuth is a douche, Sheik is even more of a douche. Annie is annoying. Huck and Gus are boring.

Steve Zolotow is the coolest guy there.

wow phil is so annoying and he's playing really bad - played his queens terribly and then cries. Also bragging about winning 200k in vegas - i forgot how pathetic this guy is. I honestly think these guys are making poker look bad to neutral observers.

Sheik is even more annoying, annie and zolotow are boring, the only two players I actually respect on this table gus and huck who barely get a chance to speak over phil and sheik.

This show is borderline unwatchable

I'm giving it a shot, at least until one of the chatterboxes busts out. I watched tonight's episode on mute, which wasn't so bad, but it was still annoying to have Hansen and Seed slugging it out in a hand but the camera on Sheikan, Hellmuth or Zolotow flapping their gums.

Did anyone else get the first half of Tuesday's episode and the second half of Monday's episode? I'm watching on Seattle, and that's what happened. They had the Gus/Z interview with Shana, and when they came back from commercial, they replayed the second half of the first episode, starting with the 77 vs. AK hand between Gus and Phil. They even had the same commercials as Monday.

I'm quite annoyed.

Week of champions line-up is better imo. Later on with Farha, Hellmuth, Benyamine, Doyle etc.

Yes,although for the last commercial break they did come back with the proper last segment of episode 2. So,I only got 25 minutes of the show instead of the normal 42 without commercials.

I guess we should be thankful that they didn't put up any weather reports during the show, warning us about any deadly rain or snow in the area.Buffalo and Seattle are awful affiliates because they fear all weather like it's the plague or something and constantly squish the screen with weather warnings and school closings.

It's also a miracle that KING tv is even showing poker in the first place.I was pretty sure they were going to put it only on their sister station KONG,like they do with many other low rated NBC shows from time to time.

I'm going to email them and give them hell about the poker screwup.

With this somewhat new format of less commentary and more player chat I really wish the network would have chose a less abrasive cast of players to begin with. I'm not gonna give up on the show yet, I'll just wait, and see if it's better with another cast.

Default PAD Drinking Game

Suggestions -

Every time a player states he's bored (a la Shieky) - 2 drinks

Every time a player visibly tries to sleep at the table (Hellmuth did this over the last half of the show) - 3 drinks

others?

You can't have a TV show that the general public is supposed to be interested in where the players look so unhappy to be there. Why exactly is the late night public going to watch this when they are staying up to watch people sleep? Maybe when it turns into the inevitable all-in fest they will perk up.

If people don't have TiVo or it is not on in your area it is all available online on the NBC web site.
