Eagles,
Is Pudge really pudgey? If so I suppose this makes you pudgey also? I am switching to cash, I am buying poker ace hud and cardrunners. My online roll is about 1k. How should I go about being a successful cash game player? |

So that is a very important part of the hand. Meaning it is likely he will bluff at it. Turn: Now he instapots again which tells me this could easily be a bluff. Now here I think shoving is probably better than calling but calling isn't terrible. River: He insta shoves here now ever single draw in the deck misses I'm chopping with most ace high hands I know villain is capable of bluffing here and all my information indicates he's bluffing so I called and he turns over the one bluff that scoops the pot. BTW if you have questions about my reaons plz ask. |

I know your asking eagles but if you dont mind a little advice from snakey then here it is- With a 1k roll and SNG experience I'd reccomend lowest level of ring right now. That is $.01/.02. Keep grinding it until your bankroll is around 3-4k to avoid going busto. That will probally be 200-300k hands if you play good. Once you are at 4k check pt and your stats should be above 15pt/bb which means 30 cents per table per hour. If you 6 table it you will be making $1.80 while getting great cash game experience. Move up to .05/.10 cent but be careful!! There are some real sharks...table selection is key. Grind .05/.10 til you are rich and never move up. Good luck allen! |

Alright def buy poker ace it is well worth the $40 I don't use card runners but it's probably good. Anyways it's a difficult question to answer because it's very vague but here are some pointers. 1. At first just play good tag until you get more comfortable 2.Once you get comfortable start mixing it up 3betting/bluffing etc. ever once in a while try stuff out see how it goes. 3.Play when you feel like playing and when you play focus, it's different from SNGs you need to pay more attention and if you aren't playing your A game sit out and take a break. 4. Just a random piece of advice but hand reading can be pretty simple if someone doesn't show any aggression and than starts showing it on the next street think about what hands that card helped. 5. People rarely bluff/make plays if someone c/r or 4bets pf they probably have a big hand. |
