Anybody who wastes $ on her bills/poker deserves to be slandered quite honestly, she is not someone that should be backed, no one believes in her "poker talent", she's just a drifter looking for sugar daddys. Someone that gets backed by one of two people - naive suckers genuinely wanting to help a cute face , and the desperate guys who seek to do so in exchange for sexual favors. She is fully aware that those people exist, and when they no longer enable her, she uses her newfound outlet to discredit them in a pity-me attempt to quantify the number of people willing to waste funds on her.

But hey, if you want to bite the bait go ahead, teach her some tricks on the felt and maybe she'll teach you some of 'her tricks' in exchange.

Look, say whatever you want. I've played a total of 6 tournaments. I've won or cashed in 4 of them. You can tell me I'm stupid and that it's all my fault for what happened, but with that history of wins vs. losses, you can't say I suck at poker.
If it's not enough tournaments to base whether or not I'm a winning player, then I guess you will just have to give me more time and wait and see.

brandi-
i think any person of the character that you describe yourself as would have a very difficult time finding any degree of fulfillment in the scummy world of poker. when you compound this with the fact that you are a young and attractive woman with seemingly little emotional stability- i think it becomes clear that you are headed down the completely wrong path. just my two cents. as for your bankroll situation coupled with your lack of experience, i'm really at a loss- for whatever reason you coose to make yourself completely dependent on others and then are totally unhappy about it afterwards. if you really want to play poker why dont you get a job and grind poker on the side and really earn your success. either way sorry you are feeling so [censored], keep your head up, zach

FF,

google for "Duke"+"lacrosse"+"rape"+DNA not theirs"+"she lied about not having sex that day"

[/ QUOTE ]

BluffThis!,

I guess that would prove that the Duke lacrosse players didn't rape that girl. Meanwhile, googling "rape" would prove that not all women are crying wolf. Please stop posting this tripe: whether or not she is telling the truth, we can't really tell just by generalizing about women's sexual harassment claims.

ggbman,

Your gullibility disgusts me.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would rather be gullible than be a retarded old [censored] who has nothing better to do with his life than watch Durrr play PLO and wait for him to misplay a hand so i can post it on some message board, or go out and call people who i dont know and are obviously emotionally troubled whores and liars.

As it pertains to me being gullible, i am not really... I don't know this girl at all and have no reason to take her word over his. However it seems to me highly unlikely that she made the entire thing up from scatch, and i could co-oberate some of the stuff she said since i know some of the parties involved.

In any event, my reaction to you wasn't as much meant to be defense to her charecter as it was just my gut reaction to the way you come off. If there even a chance what she said is true, particularly the part about being sexually harassed, it's ridiculously inappropraite to conduct yourself the way you did. I don't know why you hold these harsh views towards women, maybe a few of them conned you and broke your heart or something. I am not gullible, i would never handle the situation the way she did, but that doesn't mean you can't still be a decent person and realize the potential gravity about some of the stuff that was in there. If you don't know all the facts, talking the way you were is retarded. I guess it just goes to show that even though you are 3x my age or whatever, you haven't mentally passed through puberity yet. Bummer.

ggbman,

Her constantly using sex to sell herself as witnessed by her pics, plus her nutty stories, and her asking for money transfers to her stars account in the other thread, all add up to her being as bad as any scumbag she meets. When two scumbags meet up and one gets taken advantage of, the "victim" is still a scumbag.

Edited to add: I view most hustlers of any stripe in any "game" as scumbags.

i played with you in the mega sat to festa wpt, and on the bubble you were doing the stupidiest [censored] i've ever seen. you were like 2nd or 3rd in chips w/ 25 left w/ 24 who get seats and you're playing big pots against the only guy who can bust you, or insta calling all ins w/ A3o against guys who can take half your chips and perhaps give you a chance of busting when you can fold into a seat because "you were bored."

listen, you might be ok, but it sounds like you haven't exactly put hundreds of thousands of hands and hundreds of hours playing poker like many of the successful players on this board and on the tournament circuit have.

alot of these guys, don't have much reason to stake you otherwise than to sleep with you because you aren't a winning player, and that's just the truth.

[/ QUOTE ]

Once I had enough chips to ensure my seat, I stopping playing hands. When we needed only one person out, I did make a call with A3O in BB again SB. It was not something I would do in a tournament, but since I already had my seat and we only needed ONE person out, I took the chance against his obvious pocket pair that my ace might catch and we could all go to dinner/bed. And by the way idiot ~ he was extremely short stacked. I doubled him up and still was more thank okay with chips.

Or/and because most people lack the maturity the tell an unbiased version of a story which has them this emotionally charged. I think it's fine if Shane, who knows her and probably has more information than anyone wants to call her out on that, but you have no more information than anyone else here. I would bet 99.something percent of the time here, the truth is somewhere between the version she gave us and the version Tom Franklin would give us. I personally find it dumb for you to interject yourself into this thread suggesting "Oh maybe shes just NUTS" because any non-retarded person here deduce that

a.) this girl is [censored] up over whatever happened
b.) while she probably contributed to the situation, she probably also was a victim to at least some extent here

So why do you feel the need to be a total schmuck?

[/ QUOTE ]

why are you feeling the need to be captain save a xxx? this is NVG afterall and bluffthis has a right to state his opinion on this juicy story. now if this was posted in psychology or general maybe it would get some more serious and helpful replies.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because this is a women talking about being sexually assulted, so believe it or not it's kinda serious, and people non-challently calling her a whore for no reason and citing the Duke lacross case as a reference to why she is obviously lying should be called out. Just because it's in NVG doesn't make it more acceptable than if it happened to your mom or sister and it was discussed in the New York Times... it's distustingly wrong either way.
