If you have been playing a lot online, it appears you haven't won enough to move up on your own. Unless you've been playing too low to make enough to move up that high. Which means the jump will be even bigger.

Just wondering if there's any other reason, other than someone else's BR, to show your present level of play would be profitable online at 1-2. Other than you won't know till you try. Doesn't seem to jibe.

Bob left his job nearly 2 years ago. His bills didn't stop coming every month. Some of us in the business don't play 50k/hands a month like a lot of players here are capable of. In fact, if I play 10k hands in a month, and 4 trips to play live, I'd be happy.

I think if he games selects/seat selects very well, he'll be fine.

u wouldn't add:

renaud, offthenuts, james (when he takes a break from NL), schneider?

ive never played against the last 2 guys you mentioned but in addition to tony and mark id definitely say i would not want to play in a 5 handed game w/ the 4 guys i mentioned.

just so you hate them more...renaud and offthenuts are also good guys. the latter recently won or came in 2nd in the EPT.

i should also mention for those who dont know that james, mikey, and mark are also good people (so they dont think im saying their not by implication)

Barron

baronzeus says:
hes a lucky [censored] and he has all my money

baronzeus says:
and i hate him for it

I was aware of Bob's move at the time and figured it was still the case. The reason I asked is because, with all things being equal, you'll win much, much more online multi-tabling than playing live.

I make many more mistakes staring at a computer screen than I do with someone sitting across from me. I wonder if that was the case for him too and why he played live so much. If I could multi-table with the same success I have live, I'd rarely leave the house to play.

Bob,

If you really do this, at least make a silly blog for us all to read. I'm curious as to how this turns out.
