I don't think you can get 3 value bets out of CTS. Go for check raise on turn or check call river.

JhTh, QhJh, 8h7h, Th8h, AhTh is possible.

cts is not stupid and probably checks behind a decent % of the time with these hands.

lol those hands, which are the best part of CTS's range, will almost salways fire the turn becuase even if it is that time you do have a hand that you wil CR allin with he has good enough equity that it doesnt matter. But im concerned about his range, which includes alot of marginal or air hands that he calls in pos. with tgo take it away from you later. Maybe this wasnt happening to you but my guess is it was, especially when CTS says that your hand is very defined to him by the turn. Sounds like you are cbetting and giving up with weak hands and bet bet betting with strong ones. AKA CR ALLIN NOW TO BALANCE THIS [censored] OUT

I check river cuz I dont have a flush. Then I call all bets cause I got AA. Poker, its not so hard.

cr'ing ai here is probably a good idea x% of the time, but there is nothing wrong with betting, theres a ton of draws out there and we don't want him taking a card for free.

Jones, why do you think nits are capable of 3-barreling air, but not 2nd barreling FDs?

Nits... ..."fight back" by firing three barrels against "table captain" types.

[/ QUOTE ]

You do realize that the definition of a nit is that he does NOT use his image to make bluffs right, i.e he DOES NOT BLUFF.

[/ QUOTE ]

Honestly MDMA, no, I did not know that.

My definition of nits has always been passive, too tight for their own good, and making incorrect laydowns at incorrect times. I guess I dont really know what to call the 16/6 players that fight back against me and bluff me at inopprotune times, they certainly need a new name, because I have run into many of them. Sorry for the confusion then.

Why is everyone called OP a nit? He said that he'd been aggressive....that's the read more than what is probably a tongue-in-cheek title.

haven't read many replies but i push this all day. his line looks like kx more than anything else. i would expect him to either push/fold turn with a fd since he doesn't have odds to continue unless he has Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. also, it gives you lots of credit for 3-barreling cause this is pretty damn thin. if you think he would fold kx to ur turn bet cause u've been sorta nitty, riv is an ez c/f. c/c riv is total spew.
