Why does BBV hate OOT?

Anyone remember the scene in the movie Big where Tom Hanks is making the presentation of his idea for an electronic comic book that allows the reader to choose his own adventure each step of the way- and then the stuffed suit steps in and mocks him/cuts the idea off because its going to cost something like $20 or more for each one and no kid will spend that?

OOT is the guy putting an end to the choose your own adventures.
BBV would have had as much fun as they could with the adventure and when it was over told Hanks to not be such a dumbazz the next time.

oot's been worse recently because i haven't been visiting as much
i really like bbv because ever since it blew up into this whole weird subculture of a forum the core group of posters who make it really good are just a total blast, it's like having this great crew of people to roll around with on friday night and just have a bang up time in your small town
also i just haven't seen as many oot threads recently that have really interested me

Yeah I've noticed this too. I just figured it was cyclical and/or I've been too busy and have been selective about what threads I bother to open.

I don't really care about the "hate" between BBV and OOT, I still post in OOT sometimes (when I find something interesting), but I spend more time browsing/posting in BBV now primarily because of the hilarity that ensues in here. The funniest posters in BBV are funnier than the funniest posters in OOT.

In reality though, anyone who ACTUALLY has something against OOT beyond the "ZOMG fkk OOT" jokes really needs to get their priorities straight (and vice versa).
