I thought everyone picking Phoenix preseason was hilarious. It seemed as if they just assumed he would be back to 2004 form, but I think it's been a wakeup call that it will take time/possibly never happen

uh, are you guys serious? everyone who knew anything knew it was going to take time. We are 4 games into the season lolol. He did show some flashes of brilliance in the first 2 games, which is more then I expected from him at this point.

Cmon, they played in San Antonio the night before. It is VERY difficult to win games that are on back to back days in the NBA. Let alone back to back games on the road. Let alone when the first game was a very emotional win over a top notch team and the second game was against a bottom dwellar. Let's face it, every team in the NBA is going to have games in which they come out flat. I think that the win against the Spurs is going to be more of the norm for this team then a loss against the Bobcats.

Im too lazy to check through all of the box scores, but are ANY rookies playing well right now?

Brandon Roy seems to be it, but his shooting looks terrible.

I realize its only 3 games into the season, but the Bucks have looked awesome so far. And I need to brag because a lot of people gave me some grief when I said the Bucks should finish 3rd in the central division. GOOOO BUCKS!!

Dude, its 3 games into the season and there is a reason they play 82 of these things they call games. Last year they had their best season every w/o Amare so to say that they can't do it w/o him is kind of an odd comment. It is just going to take a little time to get the ball rolling with him in the lineup and him in the lineup and not really producing. But I seriously lol @ all the people that jump into threads and immedietley scorn the revered teams after a loss or two at the beginning of the season. Good stuff.

Do you honestly think teams like Pho and other top tier teams losing at the moment aren't going to be at the top of standings and playoff seeds five months from now?

T - absolutely. PHX is still stacked - barring a major injury they are an extremely, scary, well-coached team. Their ability to put points on the scoreboard is absolutely insane. I don't think I've ever seen a team erase a 9-point deficit faster in my life (on a consistent basis). They are never out of a game it feels like... once Diaw plays himself into shape (he looks a step slow), and they get KT and Stoudemire going a little more, yeah...

LAC-PHX last night was a very entertatining game. These 2 teams proved it this past playoffs - but they play highly watchable basketball against one another, and there is a real rivalry there.

Maggette was an absolute monster. I hope that performances like last night remind Elgin that "equal value" for Maggette, at his salary, is not possible in a trade situation.

Stat of the night - Tim Thomas led the Clippers with 13 boards.

Clipper Concerns: Brand looks fatigued. And teams are keying in on him even more than last season. Kaman's stepping up more, and he'll need to be consistent to take some heat off of Elton. Livingston *finally* put together a decent stretch of play last night, but his inconsistency is really starting to bother me.

What he's lacked in shooting touch so far he's made up for with, well pretty much everything. He's a rookie and he's the "go-to-guy" (I hate that phrase) on the team already. He's going to get a [censored] of playing time and touches, which is half the battle for R.O.Y. right there. The guy is extremely polished, calm, and intelligent... and he's only 22. If I sound like a Roy homer, it's because I've become one already. Big fan, big fan...

I figured Foye would be his main competition but he doesn't seem to be getting a lot of minutes.
