Smilingbill is better than me I'm pretty sure, at least he seems to give really good advice. Rope him into this game if possible.

I know a lot of strong chessplayers who now make most of their income from poker, I'm sure some of them lurk/read 2+2.

It's between Nf6 and f5, so everyone vote f5 pls. Take a look at this. 2 ... Nf6 doesn't score well for Black. Also as it's the most common line Curtains is likely to be very familiar with it. c6 scores very well, but it's too late for that and f5 scores quite strongly too. I wouldn't recommend 2 ... g6 as that is way too hypermodern for donks like us.

f5 could develop into a nice attacking game for us, like a reversed Grand Prix Attack against a Sicilian.
