Is Cal the best team in the Pac-10? After USC's struggles, it's looking like it and it's going to cost me 20 bucks to my brother a sophomore at Cal if they win the Pac-10 (first time in 50 years). [/ QUOTE ] The look like it to me. The Tennessee game was terrible, but since then they have been making plays non-stop in all three phases of the game. They have to go to USC, but I think they're the better team right now. |

Yeah Cal's the best team I think. Oregon looks like [censored] though, from the opening snap they've been outclassed.

I'd move Michigan to 3, really, there's nothing that USC and WVU have done better besides starting higher. [/ QUOTE ] At least 3. Either UM or Florida should be 2. And I obviously think UM > Florida. |

[begin D2 rant] My weekly D2 fix. Mars Hill was ripped off of their second straight upset this week due to HORRENDOUS officiating. QB threw the ball out of bounds, as in throwing the ball away. Ref threw flag on a DB for pass interference. Ball was cleary uncatchable. This happened on 4th and 5 with 2:00 left in the 4th, Carson Newman tied 3-3 ball on the MHC 35. CN goes on to win 10-3.
Oh and congrats to Kutztown U for their 51-7 win over Mansfield. [end D2 rant] |

Predictor is connected. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Random predictor thoughts:
OSU = best team in the country. Florida > UM, not close. SC has played one of the toughest schedules in the country so far, but great teams win by a lot, and SC's squeaked too many games out. Cal is probably better right now. Same with Michigan. WVU has the opposite problem, they blow teams out, but their SOS really sucks. Louisville > WVU. Texas has an awfully good shot at running the table here on out. If the undefeateds all lose, we might see a OSU-Texas matchup. The ACC sucks. OSU Florida Texas Louisville California Tennessee Michigan Southern California West Virginia LSU I didn't spend too much time on the above, but I think it's close enough. Key games: OSU-Michigan USC-California WVU-Louisville |
