I can't stand Pokeroom software. But you're right about the players there. They're horrible.

Anyone know anything about how this affects US affilates/unmentionable and so forth?
Do you think sites like FTP wil allow you to switch provider? tks The Affilate/R forum is temp. suspended, there is one thread in the sticky in legislative forum and I've spent alo time reading threads in the leg. forum these past days. |

I cashed out my entire roll which was probably 80% on Full Tilt, 10% on Stars, 5% on Absolute, and 5% on Party. I'm kind of in a wait and see mode right now but I'm definitely debating on redepositing on FT b/c that is where I've been playing almost exclusively (plus I've still got bonus $$ to work off). I'd imagine that my online poker playing is going to go down and my live playing is going to go way up. I for one do not depend on this for a living so I'm not going to jump through any hoops to circumvent the U.S. laws. In other news I'm hoping to get back into playing tennis and golf more and try and shed 20 lbs.

I'm leaving about $2K in Betholdem and $2K in Stars for now. Just enough working capital to play with. Rest is staying in Neteller so that I can quickly move it to whatever site starts to sound most promising. If things get really ugly I'll start to take cash out to play B&M instead.
I had an odd thought though. What kind of backlash might occur if a major site or Neteller kept US players funds and didn't allow cashouts - either maliciously or because they went bankrupt as a result of this law? Now you would have thousands of Americans who just had millions of dollars taken from them as a result of Frist's legislation. Maybe we start seeing news stories that say how little Johnny was earning his college tuition online and now that the money has been taken he'll have to drop out of school and turn tricks for a living. |

bilbo,
How many tables do you play on PR? I seem to recall their client being very software intensive and annoying. Do you use neteller for PR? Are the peak hours different? (swedish fish??) |

[/ QUOTE ] beat: I play too much to have time for a gf these days I have cashed out of Party (I only really played there cos it was easier to move money there with plastic than other sites) - my roll is currently being zapped to Neteller and will be landing back at FT in the near future where I will finally start playing $100NL tables like I planned to instead of donking about at microstakes for fun... |
