I just made a post in the Affiliate/Rakeback forum asking the same question. Should have looked here first.
I been playing there 2 weeks. The games are tight and scarce as hell but how can you beat 100% rakeback every week? I think their software is fine. It moves fast enough for me. The 3 table max limit sucks but their short handed is 5, not 6, so 3 tables playing 3-5 handed NL isn't a walk in the park. Right now, I can't see how Party and Stars aren't losing more players. As far as mining and tracker, just play there for a couple of hours and you'll know who does what. They mostly all just peddle the nuts. What cracks me up is the 2+2 tag's ragging on those tighties. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Go there and lossen the games up. |

server down for an hour for maintenance apparently.
My table is still frozen with me looking (in disgust) at my AA while the middle of the table says 'connection lost. trying to reconnect.' Okay, I admit this particular connection issue was mildly frustrating to me. |

I've played a decent amount of sessions over the last 2 weeks and have lost connection only once for a few moments and have had it appear to slow down once or twice. Maybe I've been lucky. |

Connection loss seems to happen from time to time. Not the biggest deal in the world. Hopefully it will be resolved in the next release.
As for the "rock" garden comment, I just finished playing on 5/10 5 max limit game with a complete MANIAC. If you raised, he reraised. Everytime. Sometimes he had it. Sometimes he didn't. Showdown everytime. Personally rocks are easier to play against. You can trust them. Maniacs on a shorthanded table are the toughest to play against because you are forced to play mediocre cards. Folding too much gives the maniac a huge edge. For ex. I had KJ in the SB, he button raised, I threebet, he capped. Ugh. (Why did I threebet?) Flop. Q 8 2. I check, he bet. Of course. Turn is blank. I got a jack on the river to beat him. I still have no idea what he had as hand histories aren't readily available. He could have had AK. or he could have had 3/5. Who knows. But he makes the game tough...It becomes a BINGO fest, rather than poker... |

There are fish and rocks at all levels of WPEX. There are a couple action junkies that play the 50/100 and 100/200 religiously. The 30/60 game is USUALLY soft, in my experience. And of course the rakeback is so, so, amazing.

[ QUOTE ] I think that you are being too cautious at 10/20. [/ QUOTE ] How would you know? [ QUOTE ] You should be okay in 25/50 or 50/100 game. [/ QUOTE ] WTF are you talking about? I'm too cautious for 10/20 but you think i can beat 50/100? Are you seriously advising taking an $888 roll to 50/100? [ QUOTE ] If you wanted to really take a shot on that roll, you could even try the $1/$2 game. [/ QUOTE ] I think you need your head examined. You've got me playing 50/100 or 1/2. My advice to you: stop smoking crack. [/ QUOTE ] Oh, my bad, I thought you were talking about cents. On further review, you obviously don't have any cents. |
