Joe Stillman and his deuces hand from 2004(?). Stillman reraises preflop with 22. Flop comes Axx (no 2), and he immediately goes all in. Guy calls with A-10 because he is short on chips too. Then Stillman implies the guy is stupid to call preflop with A-10 and shouts "Duece!!!" but doesn't get it. Stillman also called an all-in from Ferguson earlier with K-9 and almost beat Jesus' AA when K-9-4 flopped.

Chris Moneymaker's bluff with 88 vs Humberto Brenes' AA was terrible, but worked out.
Tiffany Williamson had 3 or 4 attrocious plays with weak Ace hands, and took forever on every single one. It disgusted me to watch her. |

How about Scott Lazar's meltdown at the final table in 2005?

[ QUOTE ] How about ANDREW BLACKs meltdown at the final table in 2005? [/ QUOTE ] FYP [/ QUOTE ] Explain this one to me. He made an aggressive big stack play against Kanter to lose his chip lead, but was still an average stack. Then he got all-in against Dannenman when SD had only 5 outs. Then he lost a coinflip. Is this really a meltdown? |

If I remember correctly he had a HUGE chip lead at the final table and just blew threw it in no time. I could be wrong somebody else can probably find the exact numbers. If I get time I'll go back and watch it on DVD and see what the counts were

You mean the hand where Tony D flops trip jacks, then lays it down? This is also notable for a hand that may have been created from two separate hands that has been discussed many times, most notably by Paul Phillips. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, that was the hand. It was faked? I had no idea. I rarely go back and search archives since there is always so much new stuff to read. I'll go and read the archives. Thanks. |

I've tried searching here for the faked hand but can't find any old discussions. would someone link to it please?
I read paul phillips' description of the hand and the screen vids but it wasn't convincing. All it showed was that espn edits the video and that they didn't care if they showed him looking at his cards at different points in time in the same hand. It doesn't show that the entire hand was fake. I'd like to read some more 2+2 archives on this. |

Trip tens and Lawson came to mind right away. The other one was in the Razz tournament, but I don't remember many details. I believe Dutch Boyd and TJ Cloutier were heads up. Dutch had nothing and just kept calling down. I remember laughing at the hand.
Anyone remember this a little better? |
