I've used these for a while and consider them a huge step up over regular flossing:

Synur,

That looks interesting, do you have one? How does it work? I'm thinking of getting one.

A friend of mine bought it and let me try it out for awhile. It senses movements you make while you sleep and wakes you up during a preset window that you program in it. So lets say you want to be up by 10, you'd set the window for 9:30 to 10. It worked great for me, I'll be buying one soon.

About 8 years ago, I read an article in the Wall Street Journal's Marketplace section about Langlitz leather jackets. Until then, I had never heard of the company.

All Langlitz jackets are hand made and (according to my memory of the article) have long been considered the best leather jackets available.

Langlitze Leathers Inc.

i checked out the website and watched the videos. it seems pretty awesome. do you think its worth $150? (or whatever degen said it costs)

it seems like it wouldnt always wake you up at the right time in your sleep or that you would become more tired later in the day or something

Um, why? You set the time you want to wake up and it wakes you up close to that.

Roomba

Kicks ass. Our old vacuum started to go bad, and I replaced it with this. Takes a little longer to vacuum a room, but you pretty much set it up and walk away. It's not very loud - you can watch TV in the room while it's going. Doesn't scare the hell out of pets, and it does as good a job as a stand up vacuum.

Lapinator. It's a pad you put under your laptop which absorbs and dissipates heat. If you have a laptop with fan/heat issues, this will be the best 25$ you have ever spent. I used to have a toshiba qosmio which started to constantly overheat and shut down after about a year of use, and this basically brought it back to life. If you sit with your laptop on your lap this this is awesome.

I really need one of these since I am an occasional lap-laptop user, usually at night when I'm browsing the interweb. Thanks junglefever.
