I hate hearing "pot odds" or "pot committed", usually from a young guy who is using the term incorrectly.
Same young guy yells, "ship it" when he hits his flush on the river of a paired...pumping his fist violently. Not a saying, but I can't stand when a guy (again, usually young and influenced) stands up when he's all-in.......in a CASH game. The "nuts". The nut hand is not a plural, and it's often used for hands that are very good, but not the best possible hand. |
