I was simply responding to a specific comment regarding WPEX addressing concerns.

There are plenty of other sites to play at until they get short handed NL, no big deal.

Been around - took a break from poker and the forums for a while.
I was in Vegas last week for work and played some poker while I was there and it got me back playing online again.

This WPEX deal is pretty good, like a continual 10x bonus, cept the games are pretty darn tight and competition tough at times, but that could be a good thing, gotta learn to play the TAG games rather than the loose party (and Vegas) games.

Actually its like a continual 5x or maybe 4x bonus which is better than 10x.

I woke up in the middle of the night realizing I typed in the wrong info in this post. Strange how that happens. I know there are better things to worry about.

So far, according to my e-mail records, WSEX has specifically promised me my tourney fees would be refunded on:

-April 17

-April 19

-April 25

-promised again on April 26 (date unknown)

-promised again on May 5 (date unknown), with their e-mail reply including the hilarious line, "We are a company of our word, we will make the payouts."

-promised again on June 6 (date unknown)

-June 30

Total, that's seven assurances from WSEX that my tourney fees will be refunded, four of them referring to the specific date they will be refunded on.

It is now July 5. WSEX is currently 0/7 with 4 strikeouts. How could anyone blame the fish for not wanting to play there?

FWIW , I played in a tourney there today and the entry fee was credited to my rakeback.

I don't know about retroactive payments , but it seems they are at least working now.

call them, they should have fixed it by now. They think they have already fixed everybody's so let them you know you havent had yours back yet..

Yoo, I think I got my tourny fees back (my account seems about $15 higher, but no specific notice).

I want to let you guys know, my tourny tab is not present at the moment. Is this the same for you guys? The tabs stop at Sit-N-Go's. My assumption, they are taking down tournies for like a day to credit everyone properly.

Love the new look to the tables :-) The chairs match the ones I sit in at home, NICE!

So, considering that many people are slow to come back after updates, but I like updates as it shows they are doing SOMETHING...would you say this update was worth it? Do you like party's once-a-month or two update and reload bonus policy? I think monthly is a good update frequency...and always on rakeback day (Monday).

If tournies are fixed, this update was totally worth it.

BTW, do you think they have Gorp as the programer? I know they only have between 1 to 3 guys working on it and I'm all for giving the mentally handicapped a fair chance, but this lot makes Gorp look like Stephen Hawking. Just kidding, they are not that bad, just probably under paid (or working payfree [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] )
