1. Good job poker.com

2. Check and Raise, and maybe the entire Ongame network should still be rogued for this.

the problem is that sometimes ongame is excellent....other times, it sucks

good reloads and promos, but a few skins that have issues

I, too, played CheckNRaise quite a bit and made some decent cash off their freerolls.

I participated in both of the promos Rob Doral mentioned, but forgot to play in the main events and did not do well enough in the earlier events. (I faced Rob Doral and Big Poppa often)

The promos were great deals and I have not been back since. Now I know that the deals were too good to be true. There just is not enough action on that skin for all the prizes they were giving away.

I am suprised onGame didn't step up with the offer and kudos to poker.com for stepping in.

BTW-sites like pokerroom, holdempoker, europoker, hollywoodpoker, betsson, and Eurobet (former party skin)
are very reputable with reliable cashiers and full service support. They should not be lumped in with the OnGame skins that have issues.
If the cashier is futurebet, rule it out. Though I hear Negreanu's skin, FullContactPoker, does a good job.

Yeah...I play the NL games at this network alot.

I hope a lot of people don't make the mistake I made and not realize that it is poker.com not pokerroom.com making this offer. I just assumed that it was pokerroom since they have an interest in the network having a good reputation.
I cannot believe that if CnR and poker.com are communicating that they will pay for the seat and CnR will additionally make the promised payments to the players. I would think the payments will go to poker.com. If it is true the players are really getting a great deal.

Heck, I'd even get poker.com tatooed on my butt if I wasn't such a wuss about needles. Might even show it on TV. J/k... or am I? ESPN The Nuts segment here I come?

I'm not sure if I agree with locking the newer thread but I'm a messy person I suppose and at least it points the right way. Anyway, I'd encourage those other players affected by the CnR issue to contact [email protected] about it too. This is a service in development apparently but they told me they were investigating the issue and other than posting their email address (which they PMed me and I hope is cool with them) I'm going to respect their request and publicly withhold any further complaints for the moment (though my patience has its limits).

I've played at poker.com, really like the site. Don't really like the way hand history and stuff is handled, but I like the rabbit/show 1 card feature. People keep showing me their cards..

CnR poker are cheapskates with no money who I guess use the players funds for operating costs while not having sufficient traffic. Years ago there was a site called summin or other that got sucked up by them. They didnt allow those players to simply withdraw their money, but insisted everyone play a large no of hands before being allowed to touch what was unequivocally their money. Only $50 or whatever in my case, but they pi$$ed me off.

Default This is OVER a YEAR OLD, wsop 2006..... please lock the thread

Dogsballs,

You probably should delete your post. The thread is over a year old and relates to WSOP LAST YEAR.

(I recall some other site stepped up and made good on the prizes, anyway.)

There is no point to rehashing this very old news at this point. .... Why go back a year to bump it up ?

This is why I don't like that my new thread was locked since the rest of this thread is mostly irrelevant to the current issue but this was the mods choice (that the new discussion gets added to this old thread). It makes things confusing IMO but I understand their intent.

Cutting to the chase, CnR stopped making the payments they promised us and bounced a check to me recently. Though we did in fact get to go to the WSOP thanks to poker.com (now carbon poker), CnR at the time felt it was the right thing to do to pay us the value of the tickets anyway since it had no affiliation or deal with poker.com since it was and still is a competitor.

And it was dynamite poker I believe to address an earlier comment.
