I wish all casinos allowed a dead button, makes life a lot easier. Makes it a lot easier than posting the typical double big blinds, double small blinds, people posting on the button, etc... Its especially fun to watch in the lowest limit games

Thanks for the info on C-Mike. I actually missed last night's show. I miss every Wednesday show (until I get around to watching it on the archives) because that's my night for the weekly poker game at the bowling alley. Also, it's Lost night, and last night was the season finale, so I had to watch that on TiVo immediately after the games were over.

Station, come to Vegas and play in a typical game. If a player busts out or leaves after his small blind, the button remains in place in a CASH GAME only. That way the blinds are still in front of the button. This makes it so much less confusing for the players.
In a tournament, you may have a dead button but an incoming player make take the position in which they sit EXCEPT if that position is between the Small Blind and the button. |

[ QUOTE ]
I've only played in the poker room there about 6 or 7 times because I only go up there when I can get a few friends together, and I've never seen them take anything out of a pot. My longest session was ~4 hours or so, and nothing. [/ QUOTE ] I will have to check it out next time I am by Topeka. I never realized there was another Harrah's there. It seems odd that one company would own two casinos that are easily within 2 hours drive of each other (in the midwest). Although I guess for anyone in Kansas its quicker to drive there than to drive all the way to north Kansas City. Now that I think about it I live in Kansas City and it takes me 40 minutes to drive there from the south side. |

Crack-
I built a nice chip stack during the first 90 mins. I had AA twice, KK twice, QQ twice and TT once. Only had one of the KK's cracked. Since I don't like telling bad beat stories that take more than 10 seconds... I had AQ, he had AT...and a Ten on the river with all the money in the middle. |

As you see at the bike there are a couple places in the midwest that are "weird". |

BTW, Trump is the only one in the universe that has a failed casino (Atlantic City). |
