Default A suggestion for the lounge

If diebitter is going to be banning posters based on posts they make, it would be a nice idea if he could first set forth guidelines in the FAQ that are updated to current specifications for the direction he wants to take the forum.

First the lounge was a place for in-depth discussion, then it morphed into a place where anything but NSFW and sex talk (OOT-sex=tl;dr?) were allowed, and now, as far as I am aware, oot topics are no longer allowed, and we are back to in-depth discussions. (It doesn't appear that the FAQ has been updated to reflect that)

This is all a bit confusing, and a warning sent by pm letting the infringing user know what isn't allowed would be a better system than the current banning model, until it is clear what direction the forum is going in, and a user can look at the FAQ and not wonder if the post belongs here, in OOT, or in LoL.

On the other hand, if diebitter wants to enact a [censored] style of modding, he should let everyone know of his intentions to do this.

Kipin,

I really don't like your tone in the above, B2.

DB,

I think forum is much better now than is was when you seemingly lost your mind over the weekend. Some really unique and interesting threads

Thanks. Luckily pryor, madtown and a few others were here to give me a verbal kicking that was hard enough to knock some sense back into me. It worked a little.

El D..

you were far too nice for me to call what you said a verbal kicking. It had its effect too though.

Thanks diebitter. Speaking of that Lost Season 2 thread, I need to get cracking on some more ranting.

Anyway, hey all. Just let me know if there's anything I can help with. I'll likely be keeping a low profile while acclimating to this whole green thing, but glad to be of any help I can.

Default Re: Comments and Questions on The Lounge here

Please note the rule changes.

We have made it clear we welcome photography and art-picture threads (note these must be SFW) in tl:dr. We are also lifting the 'no advice' rule, given the quality of threads like this one

'Ask X about Y' created by Loungers with expertise or talents in fields relevant to this forum are also welcomed.
