Can I use safemine instead of iWitness which has that annoying looping problem where it often will continue to search for tables and take my desktop hostage?

btw has anyone ever tried to use tweakui on the problem where iwitness continously steals focus searching for new tables??

works perfectly. I moved the run.bat to the same folder as the FPHG exe. I then right clicked the run.bat, went to edit, deleted the -p -2 part or whatever and typed -e txt, saved, double clicked the run.bat, the window comes up. I started some tables, wait for a couple mins, and in the window it shows the tables and hands coming up. The files then appear in the folder where FPHG and the run.bat are. I then manually imported these files to PT like I do with any other hand that I am in.

When you run the run.bat file does it flash for a second and disappear? If so, it's probably because it's in a different folder than the FPHG.exe file. When you first unzipped the file the run.bat is in a sub-folder called v0.06 or something, so you have to move it.

In case anyone else has this problem.

I just created a new PT database and I couldn't get it to import oberved hands. I have previously had this working since the the program was posted.

There was a message in the "Error Log" that said it was unable to open the file (.hhf). The message in the "Auto-Import" window said:

"The database you have choosen to import the observed hand histories into could not be found."

The "Observed Hands" option is greyed out and I know of no way to get around this.

I finaly got it working by putting the FPHG folder into the Hand History folder and using the -e txt option.

I would also be interested to know if anyone has a better solution.

Well it's obviously not an FPHG error,

"The database you have choosen to import the observed hand histories into could not be found."

DATABASE, thus something with your PT set-up, NOT anything to do with FPHG at all.

I'm sorry. I did not mean to imply that it was.

Yep, but it's no where near as advanced as iWitness (ie: have to use PP own filters, etc).

I'm pretty sure this will just cause major problems if tried, and may even make the problem above much worse.

Does this seem a sensible question to send to Party Poker:

"I can't seem to import the hand history files, saved by FPHG from your application's memory, into PokerTracker. Can you help?"

Yet almost everyday I get asked:

"I can't seem to import the hand history files, saved by FPHG from the Party Poker client's memory, into PokerTracker. Can you help?"

I was having a problem with PT importing hands using FPHG and I found, what I thought, was a simple solution. I made the post here to try and help anyone that may be having the same problem. My only question was whether my solution may be problematic.

I understand your frustration with endless questions about importing these hands and I apologize if I have added to that. I also hope that you understand that it was not my intention to do so.
