You know this has been the funniest thread I've ever read!!

Everyday I come and check out the latest and invariably end up rolling around laughing. Who ever it was who said they should tuen it into a book and sell it was right (I've enjoyed it thoroghly so far). However in the movie version I vote for the ending that involves all the animall assasins!!

On the serious side I feel bad for Filth despite of his naivetee, he as been shafted hard. Filth if your reading sorry mate but that 60k is gone forever and the sooner you give up on it the better off you'll be. Bad luck mate.

What needs to happen here is for some bottomless pit like Bill Gates to put there hand up and supply OP with a cash line until Boosted MOFO earns the cash back - hopefully the said "bottomless pit" will have a twisted sense of humour and love nothing more for Boosted to go on an almighty downswing, taking six months slogging to get out

i just want to know why booosted has been missing from the last 3 pages of posts where reasonable requests have been made for proof of certain things he has said.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe he's not interested in behaving 'reasonably'. What do you think?

[/ QUOTE ]

I (and I would believe anyone else) had no doubts about his reputation and his integrity before this thread (I was a big lurker so don't judge me on the post count :P).

However, you've gotta admit that based on what you have read and all of BJ's responses, that you cannot claim that BJ acted in good faith.

Come on, it's pretty obvious that OP was clueless and that BJ took advantage of this. OP is a 5/10 player that sent him 60(!!) buyins, do you think he would've ever sent this amount of money if he knew what BJ intended to do? No he wouldn't, BJ deceived him by making false claims and even did the whole culprit/victim reversal trick afterwards....

It wasn't OP disrespecting BJ, it was BJ rubbing salt in the wounds of OP.

BKHOLDEM,
Please clean the sand out of your vagi.na. It seems like your more upset than OP about this whole thing. We don't need 4 of your posts every page to know that this was shady.

From Boosted's first post in this thread, before he was outed as the stakee:

[ QUOTE ]
If I were making a 60k arrangement, I would want to know exactly what was going on and ask 100 questions if I was the least bit unsure or unclear about anything.

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course, he did make a 60K arrangement, and left the details completely up in the air. There was no discussion of payment schedules, what stakes he'd play, how other staking deals he has going might affect the OP -- no discussion of details at all. All he said was that it was "100% no lose" for the other guy. What a scumbag.

EDIT: It's possible he's not a scumbag per se. He may just be a child who's breaking under the strain of flying high for a while and then going busto. No way of knowing for sure.

Like you said, a scumbag. Just because he's busto doesn't justify to screw anyone.

the whole point is that boosted would never change a loan to a stake if he were winning

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not even relevant at all.

I mean, I can ask you for a million dollars, a million dollars that I would never give you. If you're smart, you'll obviously say no, but I didn't do anything wrong in trying to get you to give me a million bucks. I'm not saying Boosted did nothing wrong here, but it wasn't wrong of him to try and get the most +EV deal he could. It was wrong of Yoguh to accept his offer in which he clearly was getting the short end of.

As BJ's friend, you're not doing a very good job of disapproving his alleged shadiness.
