I forgot about the billionare/whale Kerry Packer. There are many versions of this story. He got into an argument with some cowboys/oilmen from Texas.

One of the cowboys tells him "I'm worth 60 million." Packer then pulled a coin out of his pocket and replied "Flip you for it."

The stunned cowboy then got the hell out of Dodge.

Packer was also rumoured to have won $33 million dollars at the MGM Grand. This loss caused MGM to have to alter their annual report.

Sammy and I played for around 12 hours today. I texted a couple brief messages to Zimba who helps runs things around CR. I wanted to clarify what he mentioned. I ended up 50K for the entire match against Sammy , which is a very good result since at one point I was down ~700K on the day and 1.2 million overall. I mounted a very serious comeback which is quite satisfying.

[/ QUOTE ]
Does this mean for the day or for both days? Taylor says he is stuck 450k but the way Brian words the sentence it seems like he is up 50k overall on the whole match

IT doesnt make sense that there was a 1.2 mil comeback and only 450K a piece on the table.

Brian,

If you really want to flip Sammy 450k to 470k and the only thing stopping you is your ability to get cash from your bank account to Vegas, PM me and I'll put you in touch w/ some folks that can help you out.

thats what i thought, too. Also aba's blog said he was down 700k on the 2nd day for -1.2 mil in total, and he came back up 50k. That would mean he's up 50k for the 2 days.

Offering the flip was +EV for Farha because alternative is donking it away in the pits.

[/ QUOTE ]

You say as if he is required to go to the pits. This doesn't help his rep as a fish.

Also, lol at the online fanboys in this thread.
