Oh, I couldn't disagree more Hornacek. Bargnani is far and away the #1 out of that group for me. Go on youtube and look at some of his recent highlights. This guy will definitely be a 25pt scorer in this league. Hes seriously Dirk but with more athleticism.

Assani, very likely true, I kinda put Bargnani there because I had no idea. His grade is an incomplete for me.

Assani,
You might be right that Bargnani will be the best, but right now, Biedrins is playing better than all of them. He can also defend, whereas everything I've read about Bargnani is that he's completely lost on defense. |

I mean isn't Biedrins pretty old? Its no surprise then that hes better right now. Remember that Dirk was critisized for his D as well and he has improved. This is really what is boils down to: [ QUOTE ] "I don't know Bargnani, except he looked good against us and on tape, but the real question is this: 'Can you work as hard as Dirk?' "Few people can." -Mark Cuban [/ QUOTE ] But theres no doubt about his skills. |

Ok, my mistake then. I was thinking of someone else entirely. Much as Hornacek says he hasn't seen enough of Bargnani, I havn't really seen enough of Biedrins, so I should reserve comments.

All I know is that whenever I see Garbajosa, all I think is "garbage".

Big news!
Iverson has asked to be traded. This isn't that same 'ol "Iverson trade speculation" either. He asked to be traded, the coaches are holding him out of the lineup due to a "back injury", and the team's president even admitted that they're now actively looking to trade him. Any thoughts or speculation? Which team could use him? Honestly its tough to say because hes such a unique player. You obviously couldn't have another big time scorer that needs the ball on the team. And I doubt any team that is currently winning would want to risk messing up their current situation since getting AI would change a team so drastically. The only things I can really think of are maybe another star player that isn't really happy or doesn't really fit in where hes at. Pierce, Garnett, Baron Davis, etc. The Hawks actually could use him now that I think about it. While Joe Johnson is a good scorer, I think they could co-exist. Plus they have some young talent like Marvin Williams to dangle. Honestly I'd really love to see AI play alongside another very talented player. We all assume that he can't and that he needs the ball, but we've never really seen it. Chicago definitely needs scorers. They need a guy who can get to the foul line and AI is just that. What about something like Thomas and Gordon for AI? Denver is an interesting possibility, but I'm not sure if they have antying that Philly would want. Oh and btw, Arenas has hit way long 3 pointers to end both the first and second quarters tonight against Philly. |
