I am break even after 9k hands this month after going +7k / -7k. Something is bad. I can't sustain some good momentum for some time now. I suspect I am floating between TAG and LAG and it is turning into NIT. Anyone see me play like dodo w/ some worthwhile critique - let me know!

9k hands??

i really feel like lots of players have never experienced a "true" downswing/break-even stretch.

I am not sweating the downswing.. believe me, I know what a true one is. But for someone with a day job, 20-30k hands a month is a lot. The fact that I expect after 9k hands to be + and know the way I have come down from early profits this month, I think it is more than just variance which is what I am eluding to.

Overall, I am actually break-even last 60k hands. How's that suit you?

ha that's pretty brutal. my longest is like 55k hands n it made me really really really hate poker.

n ya i guess that's a good pt... fer me, i sometimes play 20k hands in a week...so 9k hands just seemed pretty standard.

Over the 60k b/e there was a +30/-30 in there. Yeah, that makes me hate poker. Especially since I ran brutal stepping up games periodically. Anyway.. there is improvement to be had.
