I'm telling you if you have $157, move to NL10.

Hands?

If it gets too low, you might as well try buying in for 2/3, it's still >=100bb so imo it's not really that big of a deal.

i do have 157, just no way to get it to stars save a written check.

we'll see what the outcome of this video is. if you guys say i suck at poker, i dont want to move up where i'll donk more off quicker.

archon, i have an hour long video of me 4 tabling coming up with the next day or so. it is still rendering. takes freaking forever.

Noob here. Want to introduce myself to the micro crowd.

Hi!
Good luck with improving. Have fun. And as someone else said here a while ago: don't spend your youth grinding the micro-limits. Life blows when you are out of school.

I know personally I cannot play cash for much longer than an hour before my mind starts to wander or I check my account to see how much I’m up or down and at this point I almost always quit all my tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Damn. I never could stop me from looking at my account ALL THE DAMN TIME! And it is a big reason for me to tilt. As soon as I've lost a hand somewhere, I'm looking at my account to see where I am at. I feel like I really should get rit of this habit. Same goes for PokerTracker->Preferences->Specific Date->General. Does anybody else have experience with this? Damn. I probably should make myself a rule: as soon as I do it, I quit the session. As a penalty for looking. Maybe that helps.

Good post. Thx for the link.

I like the idea of aversion therapy for this.. How about playing a hand of blackjack for $10 everytime you look?

I used to do this far far far too much, also if you've got PAHU try taking the won amount out of the pop up stats as well.

I don't know much about blackjack and I won't get my fingers burnt there now but the PAHUD-advice is solid. Thanks, man.

does anyone know if PT will run g00t when I put the DB on an external harddrive that is connected via firewire 400? Background: I have a MacBook Pro with about 50 GB of free space. I'd be willing to install XP on it for 10 GB to get rid of my old windows desktop machine. But I'd like to have PT store it's data on the external drive but I'm not sure if it is fast enough. Any ideas/experience? What about installing Postgres into a folder on the external drive and running it from there. Will it work? Any comments appreciated.
