By the way, does anyone not push the river?

[/ QUOTE ]
I probably wouldn't. Hero's got the 2nd worst boat, and it's extremely unlikely that villain has continued w 55.

But this may be giving up too much value vs trips and flushes. Although I doubt many of those will call a push.

Okay so it got worse before it got better, but I'm almost back to even. One final break, maybe playing one more quick session to get a quick stack.

To all you posters posting 15 gazillion hands per post here:
tl;dr

eMc, could we get a "uNL random hands" thread or something like that where people can post every single hand they played if they feel like it? Please?
This thread contains to 90% of ZOMG-Beat and ZOMG-Brag hands. Methinks that sucketh.

Disclaimer: Just to clarify, this isn't directed at you THaC, there are many, many other ppl posting millions of hands in here, too.

I'm only posting these hands because I'm going through the largest downswing ever and I'm just trying to get some support. Isn't this what this thread is for? Basically BBV?

Ya you're right Kazana, sorry, I just got my blog set up (link in profile) and won't be posting hands here anymore. I'll use this for everyday rambling.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your struggle. Keep "eating, sleeping, fighting, fighting, fighting until you too tired to think," and you will get out of the swing eventually. I've been there only recently (-26 buyins over roughly 15k hands), and I know how hard it is to sit through. Take this time to review your biggest pots, grab a calculator, pokerstove and a few beers and do the math. See if you were making +EV plays (aka "getting most of your money in ahead") and where you could've done better. Once the swing ends you'll be a stronger, better, and tougher player.

Back to my initial post:
This thread is for anything "that's not strategy", or something like that (I don't know the definition by heart). So, technically, anything could go in here. It's just that if I look at SSNL cheese as example, they've got a lot other random content that's not being posted in conjunction with a hand history. They've got many hand histories, too, but it seems more balanced with other weird/funny/strange posts.

Don't get me wrong, it's only my opinion that there are too many hands posted in here, and I'm but only one member of the community. It's just that I think it's a tad too much of hand history bitchings.
Neither am I the authority to set the standards let alone rules for this thread - that's the job of our very capable mods. I just wanted to point out what I believe may be amiss.

Ok, to get on a different topic. I just bought a Logitech Cordless Gamepad so I can play some games that are better with a gamepad. I bought Beyond Good and Evil a long while ago but never played it so I will take a little break from poker and play it. Anyone ever play the game before?
