[ QUOTE ]
What would you consider a proper BR for this bonus. Not that it matters but I would be intreasted to know. [/ QUOTE ] There is no offical set amount, as bankroll theory varies. For me, to risk $1000, I prefer to have a bankroll of $10,000+. |

[/ QUOTE ] If taking a $500 loss after the bonus is credited won't make you vomit or search for a loaded shotgun, then you probably have a proper BR. [/ QUOTE ] Ive wanted to do a lot more over a lot less. To Thing: Its my risk tollerance. I can't risk $1000 at the moment and I probley won't on any bonus unless the RoR is extremely low. GPs 300% on a bill is a lot different. I wish I had half of 10k. |

What would you consider a proper BR for this bonus. Not that it matters but I would be intreasted to know. [/ QUOTE ] There's no good answer to this because it's entirely subjective. It depends heavily on your risk tolerance, which can be completely independent of your bankroll. Example: Joe and Jim both have 10k bankrolls. Joe is wild and loose, and enjoys the gambool. Jim is very frugral and takes minimal chances. Even though they both have the same bankroll, Joe would be more likely to consider his BR proper than Jim would, because he has a higher risk tolerance - he's not as concerned as Jim is with the risk of going busto on the bonus. Some people would have no problem with flipping a coin in a +EV situation for their entire bankroll. Some people would automatically fold AA heads up even though they are a 4-1 favorite over the next "best" hand of KK if it was for their entire bankroll. Most of us are somewhere in the middle. It depends entirely on your risk tolerance. |

I just lose $1k playing baccarat and blackjack with what I just realized was practically $0 overlay. Mansion sucks! Ohh my, I was looking forward to nice keno moneys, I just got there a couple of hours too late.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] watching myself slowly and consistantly lose hundreds of dollars is pretty sickening. [/ QUOTE ] Here's a message not directed at only pyedog, but everyone in a similar situation. You are NOT suited for online bonus whoring if you cannot stand the risk that you will bust out from any given casino. People here bust out everyday and they don't constantly whine about it. I don't want to sound like a dick, but this is all part of the bonus whoring game. If you can't deal with it, you shouldn't be here. [/ QUOTE ] This is exactly why I deposited for the $1100 bet but wouldn't redeposit for this bonus. I was thinking about it all day but I couldn't live with myself if I lost my $1050 I already took from masion. Weather or not you took the pittsburg bet you gambled on this bonus, +EV or not. Some will finish way above some way below. Welcome to casino bonuses, which are nothing at all like the risk free wager manson offered on the game. [/ QUOTE ] I understand your post, but your logic is flawed. If you have a sufficient bankroll, it would be stupid to pass up a bonus with an EV of $540. If you only like things that are risk free, however, then I suppose your move was logical. You have to view this bonus independent of the Steelers promo. It would like saying "I don't want to whore Golden Palace casino because I'm afraid I'll lose money I won from Mansion." Money is money, regardless of where it came from. Bottom line is, you expect to make ~$540 on the bonus. That, your risk tolerance, and your bankroll should be the only relevant decision criteria. [/ QUOTE ] +EV is not the only thing. I had to consider the fact that it would take me around 6hrs to clear, and then with everyone else doing this bonus I had to do it asap or not do it at all. If the +EV on this bonus was $400 I wouldn't have done it |

I finished the bonus last night but it has still not been released to my account. I was on the +EV of the keno. I am going to cash out at a pretty sweet amount but I am starting to sweat a bit.
