Juk,

Running .06b right now, and I was wondering if there (IYO) is much of an improvement running the beta. I do notice some slowdowns right now that I'm not sure are related to freePHG, but it does seem to slow significantly more as the machine continues to mine.

I think party eventually uses more and more memory, and as more hands get into memory then FPHG has to check each of them to get the hand number.

It seems like the monster update has done something bad to the Party client though, as I used to be able to have three clients running happily, but now 3/4 and everything slows down at 2.

i've been using .07b for a few weeks, 12 tables on either party or empire 24 hrs a day. its been running great and i've had no problems. it stays around 2% (sometimes spiking to at most 4%) CPU usage and 3.5 MB of RAM

Do you have it setup to just save data from observed tables ("-o"). Using that option might also help a bit (I forgot to mention that in the last post).

I think I'll give .7b a try here. It can't hurt.

There isn't much difference between v6 and v7 (or v6b and v7b) [Empire check only], but if you are using v6a before then I would try v7b, as Mogobu optimized the code in both the 'b' versions and it might be significantly faster (hence use less CPU) [still not had much feedback, but I guess alot of people are using the 'b' versions?]. Only problem is the 'a' and 'b' versions use different default parameters for timing etc, so it pretty hard to compare them atm.

I am planning on completely overhauling FPHG (and the method it uses) soonish and it should hopefully work much better then.
