If you were playing in the Main Event and competing for the $8.25 million first place prize, wouldn't you try really hard to pay attention? Yeah, me too. Dag Martin Mikkelsen raised to 100K and it folded around to Ronald Kluber in the big blind, who flipped over the A and dragged back his blind chips. "What are you doing?" asked the dealer. "I'm going to need those chips, sir." Kluber looked up and only then saw the raise. "Oh. Sorry. I thought it was folded to me." He looked a little embarrassed and several of the players at the table stared at him in bewilderment.

The Maria Staredown
Jeff "Mr. Rain" Banghart raises to 125,000 in the cutoff, and Maria Ho on the button re-raises to 350,000. Kevin Farry in the small blind three-bets all in for 2,000,000. Banghart folds and Ho stares Farry down for several minutes. She finally lays it down.

Mr. Rain now has 1,040,000. Ho has 700,000. Farry has 2,700,000.

I don't know, unlike Dario, he seems to be familar with table image and gear changing. I tend to think he is trying to set people up to call him so he can tighten up again.

I just don't want him to start calling over ESPN cameras so they can film his antics. If they're natural outbursts and as long as he isn't rubbing it in to someone who's devastated already and out of the tourney, he's OK in my book.

Maybe he's tired? Have you ever played 12+ hours a day for 5 days? Live? Then try to calm down and get some sleep in a strange hotel room?

Sick. Effing sick.

Gonsalves was eliminated on the very next hand, by way of Ray Henson. All the money got in on the {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop. Gonsalves held {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top pair with an open-ended straight flush draw; Henson revealed {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for bottom two pair. The turn and river came {Q-Diamonds} and {K-Diamonds}, bringing no help to Gonsalves who would settle for a $190,053 payday for his 48th place finish.

There's a TV hand, wow! Henson pulling away...?

Rainkhan would be a killer story/come off as either a giant douchebag or a really hilarious guy on tape depending on the editing

He'll make this FT entertaining either way, that's for sure.

D-BAG FTW

Khan went wild and lifted his chair onto his head. "How do you like my new hat?!" Khan shouts. "Does it fit good??!"

Still running in clear first in the post-Chark douche-off.

The chips are more distinguishable than pictures lead on, but there aparently have been some complaints throughout the Series about the red(5k)/peach(25k). However, whos idea was it to have three denominations in play, and have them be red, peach, and pink during the ME? LOL.

I agree with you, you're bound to lose track of the action once in the while. Typical smart alec poker journalist.
