Doubtful. Realistically we need for guys like Kendrick and Durbin to step up. They also saw something in Eaton to give him that contract, I'm not exactly hopeful on that front though.

Biggest question is whether Myers goes in the rotation or bullpen. Signing a decent bullpen arm is more feasible than a decent starter so I guess we could shore up the bullpen that way and more Myers to the rotation. Sadly baseball's infatuation with the stupid worthless save statistic will probably keep Myers in the pen. What a waste.

I don't think you can expect much more out of Kendrick. He's played much better than I ever expected. Ended up snagging tickets to yesterdays game, it was brutal. I'm gonna be pretty pissed if I sit through the rain without a win today

3-3 road trip versus 2 last place teams is not the recipe for making the playoffs.
