People are out thousands of dollars and we're trying to do something helpful. I do want to take comments like Isaac's very sensitively and ensure that we're being effective.

EGoldy, I have defended you from the beginning since I am appreciative of the effort you have put forth. Truth be told though, there are some glaring errors in your "press release" that can't be there. For this group to be taken as seriously as it needs to, future releases must be better.

On the next one, just be more careful! Keep up the hard work and have a second (or third) set of eyes take a look next time around.

Also don't be so defensive, I think it is counter productive at this point; we need to move on [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

As someone who has >5k stuck in neteller, I have a very big problem with what you're doing. The fact that you don't realize the importance of proper grammar in the business world shows that your group has no business being responsible for communicating with neteller. People have lost job opportunities because of a misspelled word in the resume. Your antagonistic tone towards 2p2, the largest poker forum in the world, full of posters who have been trying to give you helpful suggestions in a relatively unconfrontational way about how to proceed, is a bad sign as well.

Still not sure what the glaring errors were, and we did have a few eyes go through it before it went out, but it was early on.. Ideally, if we can can someone like you or the other english major review it, we will..

For our own input, can you e-mail the errors you're talking about to [email protected]

just so we don't replicate those errors?

I PMed you the fixed letter. For the record, I found thirteen, and that's just grammatical. There are multiple instances of poor word choice as well. I admit that some of the errors are minor, but collectively, as others have said, it severely hurts your credibility.

You know what? I'm a human being, and I didn't really enjoy being attacked for submitting a constructive idea to help overcome your own limitations in dealing with your problem. Your rudeness has really dampened any enthusiasm I might have had to help.

Because I immediately ceased using NETeller when UIGEA was passed, I have no personal interest here; it was strictly altruistic. Other folks with a vested interest can help you learn the standards that many of us were held to in junior high school.

Go forth and fix your attitude.

Exactly. Reading that press release made me cringe; I was embarrassed for the poor folks who started that group.

How would you like your mother to see that press release after the lifetime of effort she invested in your upbringing and education?

Think of your mother, man! Lose the attitude, and get the help you need.

Alex -- thank you for the PM'd letter and corrections.. The errors didn't make me cringe in horror, but you're right that they shouldn't have been there.. The release was a joint effort and I do wish that we had fixed the problems before it went out..

I do believe that the letter to Neteller and the other smaller release that was sent out was much cleaner. We'll continue to do better ideally with people who can review the material before it is sent out.

And Owl - not sure how I was being rude to you - I was honestly thanking you for your comments and just wishing that I didn't need them here.. That's all.

Can we drop this now and have a big group hug?
