Wolbert Bautlema Eliminated by Humberto Brenes
Humberto Brenes made an opening raise from under the gun. Wolbert Bautlema, in early position, re-raised all in for about 400,000 total. Action folded back around to Brenes, who had Bautlema well covered, and he called. The players showed... Brenes: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} Bautlema: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} Brenes stood and addressed the crowd and loudly asked "Who have the best hand?" An excited crowd packed into the ESPN feature table area yelled in unison "HUMBERTO!" Wolbert Bautlema got no help from the community cards and was sent home. Brenes is now slightly over 1,000,000 chips. WTF |

Wolbert Bartlema Eliminated by Humberto Brenes
Humberto Brenes made an opening raise from under the gun. Wolbert Bartlema, also in early position, reraised all in for about 400,000 total. Action folded back around to Brenes, who had Bartlema well covered, and he called. The players showed... Brenes: {Ah}{Kd} Bartlema: {Jd}{Js} Brenes stood triumphantly, addressed the crowd and loudly asked, "Who have the best hand?" An excited crowd packed into the ESPN feature table area yelled in unison: "HUMBERTO!" Wolbert Bartlema got no help from the community cards and was sent home. Brenes is now slightly over 1,000,000 in chips. Please, no, not days of ESPN coverage to encourage this crap, please, someone, accept the shark mission and do mankind a favor! |

I'm considering starting anti-sweat threads for 2p2 players, because our shared dislike for Humberto has not been able to Kill The Shark!

It's still relatively early, but given the amount of notables left and their chip position, we could possibly have an actual decent final.

But the percentage of pros/donkeys much lower this year. Last year there were only like 25 pros total at this point with reasonable stacks. Many more this year.
