are there any successful LAG's at NL 50 and below??? (people who constantly raise button with like almost any 2) I tried playing LAG the other day and it did not work at all, but it was only 1k hands or so. I think it could work, but the reason I did it was really for experimentation, and I wouldn't do it again until I am really OVerbankrolled and playing higher stakes. [/ QUOTE ] On some tables ill pay 30/20? or do you mean like 40/30 or something> |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know that it's necessary. Playing tight is great to build a roll because they'll pay you off with so many weak holdings no matter what stats you have. I think you'll get yourself in some marginal situations where the players will not fold and you'll end up bleeding money due to all the calling stations unless you hit over half the flops you play (and get paid off). |

18 PTBB/100. I'd kill for just 1/2 of that. PAHUD will mostly increase your winrate, as GT SUCKS ;/ I haven't gotten it yet as it's still a chunk of my bankroll lol. [/ QUOTE ] dont get me wrong, im still down 270 bucks. i used to be a total fish donk. glad i started readin here or else i would be the guy you guys post about winning money from. i've found that pokerace didnt really help me at 5NL once i figured out what i was doing. i used it(the trial) as a crutch for not knowing how to play well and based stats on wether or not i called certain hands. now that i know what im doing and the trial expired, i have played successfully without it 3-4 tabling for about 2ish months now. it will definetely be helpful once i hit 25NL or 50NL later down the road, that is the real reason i want it. if i planned to stay at 5NL forever, i probly wouldnt bother. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I'm about to start 7 tabling NL25 for like 10+ hours a day till my BR is 1500 and then Moving up to NL50 and repeat until my BR is 3000 and the NL100. Wish me luck. [/ QUOTE ] Move up to NL50 w/ 15 buyins or $750. Move back down to NL25 if you get to $500. [/ QUOTE ] concievable, but I might tinker with the system abit. 7-tabling is higher variance than like 4 tabling obv. [/ QUOTE ] This is what I was thinknig. I can't imagien someone being comfortable sitting down with a total of 350 dollars at 7 tables. Thats almost half your roll if the whole thing is 750. :/ [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, I missed OP saying that he is 7 tabling. |

lol why the allin on the river? It would have been funny if one of those other guys folded though .
And as far as LAG play raising everything on the button. If all the other players are tight, I simply raise more especially from the button. But here is the thing: 1. smart players will notice what you are doing and reraise (no worries just raise with premium hands if this happens, and stack them) 2. bad players will just call most of your raises, and might stack you in the process. Betting everything on the button simply isn't going to work on 95% of the tables. On a side note, I earned some money today playing at pokerroom, I sure teached those donks a lesson (sweet revenge ). So $50 more and I'm even after my terrible weekend |
