I can't believe I read through this entire thread ! Took me 3 frickin hours! Even still, I can't make a definite conclusion on who is in the wrong here. Although I do have my suspicions against the OP (i.e. the repeated comments of not "really" caring if he gets his $14k back just as long as FTP can give him an explanation is suspect - if OP is so persistent shouldn't he be accentuating the money? I just don't see it come up that often enough in his posts)

Also,

Why do you edit all of your posts? I'm still trying to figure this out.

I'm assuming he does this to check for any freudian slips that may compromise his whole case. Just a thought.

Bottom line is that Eric's first account he won 7K against fradulant credit cards. Then he opens a 2nd account and wins 8K against fraudulant credit cards. If we assume the rate of players using fradulant credit cards is 0.5% of the user base, then for Eric to win 2 huge scores against 2 different players using fradulent credit cards is 1-40,000. This should be enough to raises the red flags very high a full tilt. I think 0.5% is a high assumption on the number of deposits that are fradulent.

DO YOU BELIEVE HIM MORE ??

You do realize that ALL of his posts are in this thread...

exactly why would he be fighting this so much if he was a fraudster. At first I thought his story a little suspicious, but I am starting to believe Full Tilt screwed up here. If he was a fraudster he wouldnt be fighting this so seriously. FTPDoug and FullTilt are just hoping this whole damn thing blows over.Ericjones is definatly entitled to his Hand Historys and why no one will give them to him is ridiculous. I remember a case at Ultimate Bet that was very similiar. Guy claimed UB stole his money, UB said that he won the money from several different people using stolen credit cards and the Pokerstars guy confirmed that the player was a winning player and was a victim of circumstance. UB apoligezed and tgave him his money back. It is a longshot to recieve money from several different people using stolen credit cards, but it does happen. And with Eric's persistence in this matter I believe that he is telling the truth. They won't provide the HH's because there is no clear "chip dumping" involved in the hands.

a hell of a lot of these readers say posting hand histories will help the fraudsters, but i just completely fail to see how???????? Chip dumping must be OBVIOUS otherwise how do they know?? Especially in Limit Poker. Hand histories must be posted to eric or preffereably to someone independant (who is trusted on this site) who can either verify wether it was chip dumping or not.I think that is the only fair way

Can anybody tell me exactly what FTP, a multimillion dollar company, would stand to gain by stealing someone's money? Please, anybody.

7 FRAUDULENT ACCOUNTS. SEVEN. There is almost no way this can happen without some level of knowledge on the part of ericjones. None.

And I'll bring up something...throughout this whole drama, instead of eric telling us what actually happened, all he does is ask for FTP to tell him. So what will happen if they post anything? As has happened every time Doug posted, he'll just say no, that's not what it was, give me more proof? What's the point in that?

I'll take the side of the multimillion dollar corporation which has what, a dozen TOP name pros endorsing it and many more (David Benyamine, etc.) playing there? They stand too much to lose if they are ever found to be doing this without reason.

And as someone else already said, OP blatantly broke at least one rule by having multiple accounts. If nothing else, if he needed to create a second account to get his action, that's a serious problem. Why not create an account elsewhere so as not to risk being in violation of TOC? Oh wait, probably because the guys he was cheating with were on FTP!

Ok then Maybe FTP could give the evidence to a well respected member of this comunity or one of the moderators and give them the chance to review the evidence and see if eric is guilty or not. Because at the moment its simply eric against ftp. So would this not be a fair process??

No one is suggesting that there is some vast FTP conspiracy involving every aspect of FTP. its a question of whether their Fraud Detection team has made a mistake. The problem here is not whether FTP intentionally stole money.

So while the simple answer to your simple question is, of course FTP is not intentionally trying to steal this guys money, but they could be keeping his money on improper grounds.

And since FTP's support is semi-retarded we may never know for sure. Obviously, all of the factors provided don't look good for ericjones, but they certainly don't make many of us confident in FTP's fraud detection guidelines and support team.
