Once it's released, you still need to play 1x the bonus amount to clear it into your cashable balance. This clears as you play - for example: Wager $10 on blackjack, $10 will release into your balance.

It doesn't matter. Obviously, the bonus whores are going set off the red flag. However, we do NOT need someone making it easier for them to figure out. Even if it made the difference of only an hour or two, that might still keep some people from getting screwed over.

Even if what he said to CS did absolutely nothing, it's the principle of the matter - you simply don't point out to a gambling site that its promotion is profitable for bonus whores. It's counterproductive in every way.

Whether he contributed to the death of the bonus or not, it doesn't change the fact that what he did was [censored] stupid.

Here's a message not directed at only pyedog, but everyone in a similar situation. You are NOT suited for online bonus whoring if you cannot stand the risk that you will bust out from any given casino. People here bust out everyday and they don't constantly whine about it. I don't want to sound like a dick, but this is all part of the bonus whoring game. If you can't deal with it, you shouldn't be here.

Or at least move down to where a loss won't make you cry. I'm surprised so many people with minimal rolls are doing this bonus when they could lose their whole stack in one blow. +$550 EV does not mean it's guaranteed by any means. I posted the SD way back in the early part of this thread, so it was clear that the swings could be tremendous.

It's more likely that you are miscalculating than actually getting into the 4 SD range. If all observations are within 3 SD 99.74% of the time, anything beyond 3 SD is <.26% likely. Nearing 4 SD must be microscopic. I'd say there's definitely a greater chance that you're miscalculating.

i'm the matusow of casino whoring. everyone else seems to get some upswings but i only get downswings and a few breakeven stretches. it's hard to survive betting 21K without losing 2 grand if you never have an upswing.
