Fair enough response from Party Poker, and since this is purely altruistic of them, you should reply that the obvious and fair solution is to make it so players can play at those tables but opt out of the monster jackpot having their $.50 returned to them instead. of course the player would not be able to play in the tournament but that is his or her loss.

You are a genius. Seriously.

No sir you are the idiot.

No matter where the current winners go, them leaving will just make the breakeven players big winners. Then you'll say they are costing party money and to leave. Eventually there will be no player base and no rake to take.

You seem to think that if player X deposits $Y on party poker, Dikshit's company just made $Y. You are wrong, and if you don't know why then we have nothing to debate. Profit at party poker is based off how much player X plays, and how much he contributes iin rake. Who contributes more rake? 2p2er that 12 tables for 40 hrs a week or the casual fish that plays maybe 8 hours of one tabling a week?

Who said party doesn't like high volume players?

Besides the fact that more players = more tables going = more rake

Just think if most of the high volume players took their bankrolls elsewhere. Party loses the interest on $XXX Million dollars.

Party loves high volume players.... they don't like WINNING players, there is a difference.

It just so happens most winning players are also high volume.

There is nothing that Party can do about winning players and they know it. They don't care one way or the other. Somebody has to win. Drive off the top 10% of players this month and the next best players left over now win more. It's an endless cycle and there is nothing to to be done about it. There will always be a percentage of players who take money off the tables and withdraw it from the site. They could care less how much I win. As long as I play more hands this month than the next guy, I am valuable to them.

Hmm seeing everyone complaining about this monsterbs I might just move my ass away from Party. Having rakeback at Party though, would that cover for the monsterjp expenses? Or does the game still remain "unbeatable", even with RB?

I didn't write that sentence as a question.

And yes, there was at least 1 person in this thread who said party is doing this because they don't like high volume players.
