works perfectly. I moved the run.bat to the same folder as the FPHG exe. I then right clicked the run.bat, went to edit, deleted the -p -2 part or whatever and typed -e txt, saved, double clicked the run.bat, the window comes up. I started some tables, wait for a couple mins, and in the window it shows the tables and hands coming up. The files then appear in the folder where FPHG and the run.bat are. I then manually imported these files to PT like I do with any other hand that I am in.

When you run the run.bat file does it flash for a second and disappear? If so, it's probably because it's in a different folder than the FPHG.exe file. When you first unzipped the file the run.bat is in a sub-folder called v0.06 or something, so you have to move it.

The Party importer WILL import .hhf files. You need to use the InterTops.exe trick - that is put a file (any file) named InterTops.exe into your .hhf folder and point the importer to it. (Empire will no longer work)

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sorry, which .hhf folder? Previously, I created a bogus "pokernow" folder which has in it: the entire freephg folder and a bogus "pokernow.exe". With this, I was able to import observed hands using the lightening bolt option. To use the Party importer for observed hands, where exactly do I put the freephg folder, Intertops.exe, and which skin am I pointing through (intertops, empire, party? I'm confused. Thanks again. Tera.

Hmm, we are probably crossing wires somewhere. The Party importer is the one where you have to specify an exe location. The generic importer does not need this. Both intertops and pokernow exes should work fine, I just happen to use intertops, in the folder where the .hhf files are stored.

nm my question, I'm just gonna go ahead and use the .txt approach, but I was just wondering if the hhf. approach is better for any reason that I should keep trying for.

[/ QUOTE ]

when i convert to .txt, the files are saved to my personal pt database, not my observed databased, as I would prefer. I think that .hhf is needed if you want them to go the database specified in the observed import function.

Does your txt approach work correctly? I can't seem to get mine to work. Thx.

I am trying to import hhf observed hands through the party importer (not lightning bolt, for reasons explained by others early). I'm using a bogus Pokernow folder with freephg inside. I think I have followed the directions, but I am unable to get any imports into my observed data base using the party importer. can anyone see what I'm doing wrong below? Thanks very much for your help. Tera.

Never mind. I found the problem. I had the fphg files seperated from the pokernow.exe. I put them all together now and all is well

Thanks again for all of the previous help.

I've never datamined before and I thought I would see if this is useful for me. I downloaded FREEPHG_v0_06b. I extracted it on my desktop and ran it overnight for a while on Party.

I get these hhf files on my desktop. I renamed the extension to .txt from .hhf and I think that should solve it. Is that correct?

Should I also have logged in to Party and opened the max amount of tables? Or should I have stayed anonymous by not logging in and only using the 4 tables?

thanks
