guessing all the decent coaches are away in vegas or something.

just tilted off half my 200nl profits for the month. alot of them were double barrels where i feel that people are using pot control. so i overbet shove the river and they call me with just TPTK on a coordinated board. they 3bet me then check behind a K high board. I just know they got QQ coz they always fast play their strong hands and check behind for pot control with mediocre hands like QQ so they "dont turn their hand into a bluff"...so i fire on the turn and river and they call me down with QQ. stuff like that. i feel like they are good plays at the time when i know they are controlling potsize for example. so i figure they dont want to play a big pot with those hands. but obviously they do :|

I did what those people do today, c/c down against a 50bber with QQ on a KxxAx board and guy obv. has AA FTW lol. If you know how they play, just use it against them.

You guys who learned PLO - how did you do it? The PLO forum here is teh suck. Is there a good website or anything on it?

I mean ,I know starting hands and I know you need to use 2 cards so I guess I'm an Omaha expert already.

i read the chapter from Super System, messed around with some numbers on twodimes and just mix in some omaha with hold em every now and then. Its a really fun game, especially if you really like to gamble and dont mind variance so much. you can do a decent job of avoiding any sick swings though, the games are really soft (up to 200pl at least) -- i just like to play it more aggro than most of the other players.

How do you avoid sick swings if it's like, IMPOSSIBLE to be more than a 60/40 favorite on the flop?

The second line is a big mistake. Players that check behind with QQ are thinking to themselves that they are inducing bluffs from you (they are, in fact: you are playing right into their hands).

You need to pwn players like this with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], not try to bluff them off their QQ/JJ because they've already convinced themselves that checking the flop makes it correct for them to stack off.
