Does moneybookers send Can$ cheques?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure that the cheques are denominated in whatever currency your moneybookers account is in.

[/ QUOTE ]

then if my account is in Can$ are there fees when I cashout from a pokersite into moneybookers??? Of its like click2pay and there is no fee?

[/ QUOTE ]
I've always assumed it would be like NT, with currency exchange vig both ways, but I've never directly inquired into this. Probably worth checking into.

Could someone tell me of some site that will let me deposit with Neteller and then cashout with Moneybookers without having deposited w/MB? I don't have any money in my MB account, and it will be expensive to send a bank wire.

This has been asked and answered a few times, but it can be hard to find in this thread, and the answer has changed somewhat. Pontuan contributed this a few pages back:

Gamebookers, Eurobet, and Pokerheaven all allowed me to withdraw to mb without making a deposit first.

Some players have had success with UB as well, but this seems to be hit-and-miss.

The final option is to do a promo through PokerSavvy...they allow you to cash out your points to MB. That's what I did to start at MB.

I took your advice and did a PokerSavvy promo at EmpirePoker that I'm going to use to fund MB. How long does it usually take to receive the savvy pts?

It all depends on the poker room and how often they report, but usually within a couple of days. If it's been a while, you can contact their support or post in the forums...their support is quite good.

Will221, what exactly did C2P have to say about this?

I was on the verge of signing up with them, but those fees are outrageous. Especially when they clearly state otherwise in their T&Cs.

Thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

they havent responded yet, ill keep you guys updated.

There is still an other solution, I read the cheques only have a 2$, and they send them in Can$ if im not mistaken. So that would be a decent solution because we would save on the conversion at the bank. And the money wont be frozen for 3 weeks. But I'll have to see if the fees are really 2$.

[/ QUOTE ]
Did you find out any more info on this? I too was looking to sign up and use their card as it was apparently free. Are you sure it's not some conversion issue?

Has anyone else here used C2P's debit card to withdraw money in Canada?

We are all disappointed with the latest C2P debit card news, but if their card was really free (or cheaper) and a better deal than the old Neteller card, it would have been a known fact and we would all have been using it by now.
So even if i disapprove the fact that C2P seems to be hidding the extremely high cost of their withdrawal method I doubt very much that it will turn out to be a missunderstanding.

Again, by the same reasonning that something better than Neteller would have been known (good news spread also fast at 2+2), I don't think there is another debit card option at reasonnable cost out there. Not yet.

Surely someone here has used the debit card and knows for sure.

oh, its click2pay, I just emailed support to know what was up with those fees.

Even for the maximum 5000, you only get 4479, which is also 0,8958.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've just done a quick currency exchange via xe.com:

5000 CAD = 4501.50 USD.

I'm hoping this explains the discrepancy??!
