Frddy Adu signs for Benfica tomorrow, as a Benfica fan: YAY!

[/ QUOTE ]

5 years at $550,000 plus housing and car allowances and bonuses based on goal production. That goes with a $2M transfer fee.

Manchester United sell Rossi to Villareal... I think 11 million Euros... I'm pretty pissed about this as Rossi had a spectacular loan at Parma during the second half of the season... and was the best player in the reserves for the last few seasons... I really wanted to see him get some first team football with United this season...

great pickup for Villareal and for Rossi personally, as he wasn't going to get nearly as much PT at Old Trafford as he will at Villareal...

Carlito better be on his way soon... also Smith better be on the way out... would much rather see him go than Rossi

i'm also pretty pissed about this too, in fact, this is some bad business IMO on ManU's part and is one of the few times that I'd question Sir Alex. He's 20 and if the Tevez saga doesn't work out then him and Rooney would be a natural pairing for a long time to come. What also annoys me about this is that it means that Alan Smith is staying. I love Smith, but to choose between him and Rossi, well, it's a no brainer. I really hope that David Gill and Sir Alex reconsider this in the next 24 hours before his medical happens

I actually like Smith alot but maybe that's just because he's always so awesome in Pro Evo.

He is such a beast in Pro Evo... but irl he has no technical ability... the guy is just not good enough to play at OT... he should want to move to a Boro/ Blackburn/ Bolton/ Everton type of side... gotta love his attitude though he gives his all for the shirt out there

ManU Fans, thoughts?

[ QUOTE ]
There is no more poignant sign of the potential dangers facing clubs who raise their prices than the page on Manchester United's website publicising the availability of season tickets for the forthcoming campaign. The reigning Premier League champions, one of the world's best-supported clubs, have seen their waiting list - previously estimated at 14,000 fans - disintegrate to zero. United fans wishing to renew their tickets are facing price increases of about 13% and the Manchester United Supporters Trust believe more than 6,000 season-ticket holders have not renewed as a result.

[/ QUOTE ]

Also, just to comment on the Rossi thing, seems rather strange that Fergie went ahead with this, w/o having the Tevez deal finalized.
