muddywater on CR says I should avoid Party BBJ tables, because $0.50 extra rake per pot will build up quickly and it's just not +EV. Any thoughts?

When the jackpot is above a certain level it becomes EV+ to play. Around $150k

More 2-5nl at the Borgata action

Early in the session, I raise JJ in EP to $25, a French donk (but really nice guy) calls in position. J8x flop with one heart. I bet $45, call. Turn a 6 of hearts, I bet close to pot, he calls. River 3 hearts completing BDFD, I bet something sorta big and call a shove for something small, MHING against K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for no pair + BDFD on flop.

Soon I get my revenge. $700 deep or so now, I call donk's MP raise from the BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Flop is Jxx two hearts, I c/c. Turn a 7 giving me middle pair, it checks through. River another low non-heart blank, I check, he bets $200 which is like 2x pot, I INSTAcall. He says "ughh I have 1 pair." I think, "uggh did he just value bluff me?" He says he has bottom pair, I show my second pair and don't get bluffed for the rest of the night.

The only other highlight is against your typical SUPERNIT old man. He was probably running at about 8/1/.1. In one multiway pot I complete from SB with ATo. Flop is T86r. I lead for near pot, he calls and everyone folds. King on turn checks through. River a 4. I block for like $15 into a $60 b/c there's a 0% chance of getting bluff raised, he thinks for at least a minute and keeps muttering "man I think you flopped the straight!" Yes old man, that's the only hand in my range. Finally he JUST calls with 57 for the second nuts. lol

Finished up a few hundred for the trip, which sucks but could've been worse since I ran kinda bad.
