Swede -

Censored word is s luts. It is from a South Park episode so it probably isn't real.

The Road Warrior beats Mad Max. (Mad Max 2 for you outside the U.S.)

Mad Max is not a bad film, I actually like it, but it's done with such low production values that the sequel is definitely a big improvement.

I second this one too. Some of you people have some [censored] up sense of movie taste .

You know what guys, you're both right. If OOT insiders say it is so, it must be so. Isn't taste by definition a subjective thing? Perhaps one or both of you could elaborate on why I'm absolutely wrong on this one.

Taste is subjective but we, and our tastes, are all the product of our environments, therefore in a sense the majority subjective opinion will always come closest to the faint wiff of objective truth. Ergo, Austin Powers 1 & 2 >> Goldmember.

Chew on that sucka.

taste or no taste goldmember was just rehashing jokes from the first two movies pretty much makes it worse than them. It may have been funny but all the non-gm stuff that was funny was already done.

I think this is the only actual answer anyone has given yet.

Does anyone consider Silence of the Lambs a sequel to Manhunter?

Bottoms:

The other guys already said what I was going to say, so I'll just leave it at this: if you honestly think Goldmember is better than the original I will hunt you down and beat you. Bam bam, knee to the groin!

Aliens

[/ QUOTE ]

Jules, if you really believe Aliens is better than Alien you are a giant steaming pile of poo. There are two potential lines of reasoning regarding these two movies that I would be willing to accept.

1 - the two movies are too dis-similar to be compared to each other; each one is great at what it is.

2 - Alien is far superior.

Swede

[/ QUOTE ]

how about

3 - aliens is a better movie, containing more awesome sci fi special FX, more badassery, and just a more fun and entertaining experience than alien. which is not to knock alien, its a real good flick, i just enjoyed the second one more, and im sure im not the only one!

ps i rule!
