Well, this is how far I got so far. Obviously I'm not following the 3-hour rule. 30/60 has been giving me some trouble early on, but I am going to continue in the morning. I want to make it to 50/100.

This is way more fun than playing poker normally.

So you started at 10/20 with $300. Went to 15/30 with $450, 20/40 with $600 and 30/60 with $900. By the rules, once you dropped $300 at 30/60 you should have dropped back down to 20/40. It's tough, of course, when losing 5bb (frequently, for me, the first hand at the table) means you need to slide back down, but that's part of the charm of it.

Of course, I don't follow all the rules myself. I always play out the orbit unless I'm getting close to 3 hours.

Oh, my bad, I thought the rules said to keep going at the level you reached until you bust.

From your earlier post:

[ QUOTE ]
* Keep going until your time is up or you bust out of the limit you start on (e.g. if you're on Stars and you start at .25/.50, don't drop down to .10/.20 if you get down to $3...just keep going at .25/.50 until you're out)

True...MY bad.

You don't want to let yourself get under-rolled for your level (unless you can't go any lower), so you drop back down when you fall below 15BB for the previous level...in your case, once you were under $600 playing 30/60.

Of course, I've never made it past 3/6 doing one of these. Maybe the rules change when the air gets thin .

Haha, ah I see now. I thought about that too. I'll keep that in mind on my next one.

The worst is spending 3 hours circling the 15bb line at the limit you start at. I've been going for 90 minutes so far at .5/1, and am finally $6.75 up! Whoo-hoo!

That is so frustrating, but this is fun. I'm not sure I ever want to 4-table again. I think I'm going to 15BB challenge from now on and only stop when I reach the big game at the Bellagio.

I started a couple of nights ago on Absolute $0.02/$0.04 SH to practice table selection and Sh which I'd never played before. I can only Buy-In at .02/.04 and as soon as I get 15BB for the next table I can upgrade one of my tables. I have had a few shots at .1/.2, and one of them came through. I stuck around at .25/.5 a little longer as I was on the left of VVLPP with VPIP touching on 85.

.5/1 I dropped $12 to a bigger boat and the rest dribbled away.

Game Level : BB/100 : BB Total : Total Hands
.02/.04 : 4.8 : $1.71 : 1003
.1/.2 : 4.05 : $2.73 : 337
.25/.5 : 5.55 : $8.22 : 156
.5 / 1 : (71.43) : ($15.00) : 21

Shant,

I'm willing to help you with your challenges, if you'll help me with "normal" games. IMO, I'm a top 5 15BB Challenge player. Let me know
