This is the opposite of true.

Diet Dr. Pepper is the only diet soda I've found that is not completely disgusting and it's still pretty nasty. Haven't tried Coke Zero or Coke Zero Cherry though.

Coke Zero is awesome and it's all I buy at home. At work they stock the fridge with Diet Coke so that's what I drink all day at work.

I'm a convert to Coke Zero as well. FWIW, The New York Times ran an article on how Coke Zero has become the favorite diet cola for men, with experts speculating that this is due to both:

1) The sweeter, bolder taste--as compared to Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi, and
2) The "manly" black packaging.

It's interesting hearing all the love for Coke Zero in this thread (I'm obsessed as well). It is largely marketed toward men. A year or so ago, Coke changed the label from white to black and sales to men skyrocketed.

If you haven't tried it, you're really missing out. It is not even in the same universe as diet sodas that preceded it.

coke zero is my drink of choice. The taste is good and once you go black you never go back
