[ QUOTE ]
Max, ignore all the retard replies. Who your 'parents' are is more about emotional relationships than genetics. {snip} None of it has anything to do with you, it sounds like your folks made good decisions and you turned out better for it. [/ QUOTE ] Be glad you had two loving people who raised you. You seem like an okay person. |

Why would they wait until you are 23 to tell you;/ [/ QUOTE ] My wife has a cousin that is 26 and he still doesn't know that his Dad isn't his real Dad. What's [censored] up is all of them know and he doesn't. Plus his rl Dad is half black, so he don't even know how much soul he has. srs response, how do you find a good time to tell someone that? |

This whole situation is really crazy.
How do you feel overall? Have you had any trouble trusting people after finding this out? |

It seemed that you turned out as well as you could have hoped given the circumstances. The fact that you have >1 caring guardians during your childhood means you beat the over/under.
I would continue to see your grandparents as parents. Celebrate father's day just the same. Mother's day will be interesting. |

Ignore the retards and don't call this a beat. You're real mom was in a tough spot and did what she and your grandparents felt was best for you. Your best interest seems to have always been at heart through your upbringing as you say you've turned out OK.
You're a lucky guy that your family thought ahead, did all they could looking toward the future and you turned out well. Seems like a brag to me. |
