I was in IRC chat with Zuztman throughout the event, up until there were about 45-50 left, then I had to go to bed so didn't get to see the dealmaking but let's just say that my boy plays way better drunk and was TOASTED last night. Not quite sure how the hell he made it to first as bombed out as he was, but needless to say the IRC chat was ridiculously funny.

WTG Zutz!

wtf are u talking about. your friend is dick head and wanted 5k more...lol and then says hes drunk. so because he is drunk doesnt make him a greedy moron

[/ QUOTE ]

To be fair, because he was drunk he was taking advice from a lot of different people simultaneously at that point. FWIW I thought he should have taken the deal (in part because he was drunk).

I am 'Zutzman', taz115 on ITH.

I was wickedly drunk last night having had cashed out my BR and was playing one last hurrah to finish up an unfinished deposit bonus all in one shot.

I have always said I wouldn't take a deal on the FT. but I was on IRC and everyone there, who plays poker, expect PauliF was saying to take a deal. Some were saying hold out for money.

I couldn't really make the choice so I wnet with the majority and eventually took the deal. My g/f didn't want me to take it either.

I don't regret taking the deal as it was likely the best choice when I was 4/4 and could barely keep my head up. I'm glad to have provided some entertainment on the chat though and the extra $30k was quite unexpected.

JJJP: Great story! Congratulations!

punkass: Awesome image. lol What's lil' green (button?) thingy say? Old eyes, ya' know.

fatshaft, TallPaul and Paulie: ITH does look cool. Is being a kid a prerequisite or can the "age challenged" lurk there?

The tiny green button, appropriately, says "run good."

Let's see. I'm an ITHer and I made a FT at the WSOP in 1986. No age discrimination I can assure you. zutz even had a few beers over at my house on 4th of July, although my wife had to card him.

I think that may have been the Senior's event as well.

[/ QUOTE ]GaryTheGoat, we recently had a thread on peoples ages on ITH, we are in general surprisingly old. Piemaster there being one of the very young kids, touching slightly under 30. A lot of us in the 40+ bracket.

Uggh, NO. Doyle is way older than me. I did cash in the Senior event last year though.
