Don't donks tend to become super passive against aggressive players, taking lines like c/c, c/c, c/c?
I think if a donk checkraises the flop he fires all turns and you cannot read anything about the fact that he bet when a K showed up. I give a donk credit the first time or two he 'plays back' and i have a marginal made hand. Make him prove that he has the balls to play back. Generally they just want to make a hand and let you hang yourself. |

I don't understand any of the discussion in regards to the king. Why would the king slow down anything he has? Is he supposed to think you peeled AK after being CRed? I can't think of any hand where it's logical for him to be scared of the king.
If anything, you should be more scared of the king than him, because he might have been bluffing overs, whilst you are unlikely to be 'bluff calling' AK/KQ/KJ. |

I think when he bets again (assuming this is a standard donk) it really polarizes his hand range to nuts/air. |

I think a donk often bets any turn (even turns that scare him) because he doesn't want to check and then have to call a large bet. Same reason you see donks pushing allin on turns/rivers where they will only get called by a better hand.
K turn makes calling a second barrel that much worse unless OP thinks the blind will check-fold rivers with better made hands worse than a pair of Ks. |

[ QUOTE ] perfect time to check behind the flop. [/ QUOTE ] posts like this are so useless. sometimes you ch behind flop sometimes you bet it who cares. obviously you're not going to do one or the other 100% of the time in any given situation. [/ QUOTE ] no. you are checking behind 100%, as luegofuego said. |

it seems like most of the time in these spots the villain actually has a hand and sometimes not, but he has it enough to make calling not profitable
