I agree with the Borgata/Venetian chorus in terms of pure physical plant, but I also have a fondness for the MGM's room.

I know they only have low limits there but I really like the modern, wide-open layout and all the foot traffic. I enjoy the scene in general and the energy of the nearby sportsbook as well. I know most people prefer quiet but I really dig the MGM's atmosphere.

I realize that its in the middle of nowhere, but I will put the new 46 table room at WinStar in Oklahoma up there with any Vegas room.

Its brand new and very nicely decorated. Its not as plush as Venetian but everything is brand new, its huge and theres plenty of action.

Since the OP said "nicest poker room in the US"..not just Vegas..I vote for WinStar.

You are joking I hope? Or more importantly have you ever played anywhere besides Winstar...it is much nicer than it used to be...but cmon....really? Best in the US? lolz

Wynn/Venetian/Borgata, obv, but I was also pleasantly surprised by Barona's poker room.

Is Barona really any nicer than say Pechanga's? I think Pechanga's is the nicest of the SD area Indian Reservation rooms and The Hustler is the nicest of the L.A, area rooms.

Thank goodness! Although it was the site of my first-ever casino MTT cash. $93 for 6th in a 68-man $30+$5 ftw!

Has anyone been to Green Valley Ranch since they redid the poker room earlier this year.

I hear its definitely top notch.

I would not say top notch, I visited the room in March and it did not impress me.

Bay 101.

Lots of room, lots of games, edible food, good parking, friendly waitresses, and the best staff anywhere. The players are pretty well behaved, too. Plasmas everywhere w/ full the dish. You can usually get whatever game you want.

The only room I've ever played at that was nicer may not exist anymore - it was the Lodge in Blackhawk, CO. They had this huge wall of windows and it was, well, a mountain lodge. Beautiful to watch a snowstorm while playing cards.

The Wynn is pretty good for Vegas. The Venitian is a nice room, but I've never seen any games of note there, so it means nothing to me.
