I'm confused.
For the last X weeks, after every episode of the Sopranos, I'd been watching what I *thought* was the current season of Entourage. The next day I'd visit OOT and read the thread about the episode I had seen the night before. When Eric and Vince got the financing and director for Medellin, I assumed that was the end of the current season. I stopped looking for the show, and started watching John from Cincinnati instead. Now I read this thread and find out that last night was the start of a new season of Entourage?!? What have I been watching for the last X weeks after the Sopranos? Did I somehow miss a season and then watch it in re-runs? Or was there just a really short break between seasons? |

[/ QUOTE ] It's pretty [censored] up the way they scheduled the last two seasons. Season 3, part 1--> huge break--> Season 3, part 2--> one week break--> Season 4. My guess is that this is related to DVD sales, and they are just trying to cash in a little more. |

Two quick thoughts, as I said I thought this was one of the best episodes ever, and I am always telling my friends how I wish they would do more of these types of episodes, showing all the production and shooting scenes etc. However, I thought Vince looked pretty damn phony as Pablo, and that they could of done a much better job especially how all other aspects of the episode were really well done and clearly had a lot of money put into it.
Also, does anyone else think how [censored] sick it would be to actually have Medellin come out in real life. With so much publicity from the show and clearly a good story, good actors, etc. it would be so sick for them to actually make the movie in real life and have it released the same time as in the show. |

a new way of telling it (although all I could think of were the old M*A*S*H episodes set as part of black and white newsreel footage). [/ QUOTE ] a new way of telling it? The device predates the office, and mash and is pretty much as old as cinema. In any case, just watched it, ok ep. ******* I noticed they changed the opening credits, finally removing Debbi Mazer and adding Perrey Reeves which I initially assumed was the actor who plays Walsh, but its actually the actress who plays Ari's wife. I don't know if this means she will be playing a more prominent role this season, it seems if not the person to add to the credits would sooner be Lloyd. Also, I may be wrong here, but I think parts of the credits have been sped up. |
