The new store is now open. I just order Super System II and some Omaha book. Looks like they have a decent selection of poker books. They also have chipsets and a few Sony TVs monitors etc. Looks like there's a lot of good stuff there. Points seem to be worth about 0.4 cents a point which is pretty good IMHO.

Overall I'd say the new Party Points store looks great.

Just checked it out. 6 tabling 20/40+ I get about 2 points/hand, or at 400 hands/hr, I get 800pts/hr. I currently have 200K points and need 300K more to get that 32" LCD, which runs about $2K. It would take me 400hrs or so

Edit: If I play during the "happy hours" and play some 50/100+ I can get like 2000 pts/hr which would only cost me 150 hrs!!!

Note how the table top is described as "Green Velvet". A velvet poker table? Somehow I think that the description here is not what youll be getting.

I wonder if they will be adding any large items like the car Pokerstars offers.
Some people can already afford any item on the present list and then some.
It's surprising there are no real 'big ticket' items in the new store.

Did anyone else foolishly buy every item in the store about 5 months ago and then had them mailed to another address that party wouldnt change unless you faxed them proof?

Funny how some of the old crappy items have shot up in price. The hooded sweatshirt which use to be 3000 is now 9500 points.
