[ QUOTE ] Elephant has no chance against a trained elephant fighter. [/ QUOTE ] But he's not fighting a trained elephant fighter, he's fighting a trained human figher. [/ QUOTE ] Interesting. I would have thought that, during the break between fights, the UFC champ would be able to learn how to fight an elephant effectively. This opportunity would be open for all fighters but obviously only a human could take advantage of it. If this is one fight after the other and we're assuming that the UFC fighter is not allowed to learn about his opponent then it totally changes things. |

[ QUOTE ]
The UFC fighter cannot use tools or this tournament would be pointless. Reminds me of the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indy just shoots the huge Arab sword fighter. [/ QUOTE ] Ok. Makes sense. That's fine. But is the UFC fighter allowed to learn about how to best defeat an elephant? I think including a human unnecessarily complicated things due to the intelligence factor. |

I think it needs to be reiterate that this is a fight to the death. Someone please explain to me how a UFC fighter could kill a 1000+ lb. crocodile? And so what if a human could hold a crocodiles mouth shut. It would be very difficult for the human to get close enough to do this, and large crocodile could easily shake off a human even if he did get a hold of his mouth.

Some of the results so far are laughable.
First, read what ClarkNasty wrote: Animals somehow know they need to kill the other and fight to the death. This is huge. It means that most of these animals are going to fight in such a way that we aren't used to seeing. Exactly how do you people think the UFC Champ is going to kill the crocodile? punch him to death? use an armbar? The fact is that a human with no weapons is a distant 8th. Most of these animals are too large and their skin is too thick. No unarmed human, not even The Ultimate Warrior, would stand a chance against any of these animals. Tiver vs. Hippo is close for me, but that's because I don't know how a hippo will fare out of water. Elephant vs. Grizzly: This seems pretty clear for the grizzly. We aren't talking about Smokey here. I think a full grown grizzly has the speed, agility and claws/teeth to inflict some serious damage on an elephant. |

Rhino easy, The tiger gives up too much weight and it's main attack is to clamp on the throat. It simply can't do that without exposing itself to one big ass mass of mauling machine.
African elephant take the grizzly. Again crushing blows are just too much. Croc vs Human this is interesting but I have to go with the Croc. His tail is too strong, and his natural role on a 1000ibs beast would make a 220 pound man wear out pretty fast, considering the man would almost have to go for a mouth clamp and choke strategy. Give the man any sort of a blade and I change my vote. Tiger vs Hippo. Water or land a hippo is just freakin nasty. The tiger kills by latching on to the throat. No way it gets that done without taking a tusk or a trampling. |

[ QUOTE ] You guys voting for the UFC champ are on crack. For Christ's sake, he's fighting a damned crocadile! [/ QUOTE ] Oh, man are you on a roll tonight! [/ QUOTE ] Seriosuly dude. Maybe people aren't thinking clearly, I don't know. People just don't go around killing crocadiles, that's why we invented guns. |

What about Mickey Rourke from sin city though? |
